Student Resources Research assistance for students enrolled in the Department of Distance
Learning (DDL) is provided by the Hunt Library on the Daytona Beach campus. This assistance is
provided by two departments which deliver Extended Campus Library Services. The Access Services
Department can assist students who have already identified materials. If these materials are owned by
the Hunt Library they can be loaned to DDL students. If the materials are not owned by the Library, they
can be borrowed from other libraries through Inter-Library Loan. The Reference Department can assist
those students who have not identified a particular item but are just beginning their research.
Reference Librarians communicate with DDL students via phone, e-mail, fax or mail to provide instruction
in accessing and using our electronic catalog and databases, help in formulating search queries and
assistance in conducting literature searches. |
