College of Career Education
Extended Campus
THE COLLEGE OF CAREER EDUCATION
The College of Career Education (CCE) is the academic arm of Embry-Riddle's
Extended Campus and provides off-campus degree programs specially tailored
to serve the needs of in-career working adults interested in pursuing aviation
or technical management oriented college degrees. Courses are offered in
both classroom settings and through web-based distance
learning. Both classroom and distance learning courses are available
at over 100 center
locations located in 36 states in the United States and in four nations
in Europe. Also, students can enroll in web-based distance learning
classes from anywhere in the world through the college's central Distance
Learning Enrollment Office.
OUR STUDENTS
Students in Embry-Riddle's off-campus programs are primarily in-career
working professionals with an interest in aviation, aerospace, or technical
management. The
College of Career Education enrolls over 9,000
undergraduate and about 4,500 graduate students each year. The student
body includes military personnel, commercial pilots, aircraft technicians,
operations and support personnel working in airlines or aerospace companies,
government employees working in aviation oriented agencies (such as
NASA, the FAA, the NTSB, and local airport authorities), as well as anyone
with an interest in aviation.
DISTANCE LEARNING ENROLLMENT OFFICE
The central Distance Learning Enrollment Office is the student service
center for those students who are not located near one of Embry-Riddle's
two residential campuses or one of our over 100 worldwide
centers in the United States or Europe. The Distance Learning
Enrollment Office can provide student services to students located anywhere
in the world. Students or prospective students can request an information packet on
our distance learning programs by clicking
here or can contact the Distance Learning Enrollment Office directly
at the following numbers:
Voice: 1-800-359-3728
Fax: (386) 226-7627
WORLDWIDE CENTER LOCATIONS
Students located near one of our worldwide centers may also enroll in
distance learning courses through the nearest center. Embry-Riddle
worldwide centers are located on military installations, at aviation and
aerospace companies, within U.S. government facilities, and in communities
where a strong interest in aviation and technical management education
exists. Click
here for a map and a listing of the center nearest you. Distance
learning students not located near one of the worldwide centers can enroll
in classes from anywhere in the world through our central Distance
Learning Enrollment Office.
DEPARTMENT OF DISTANCE LEARNING
Students who enroll in distance learning courses through the College
of Career Education's central Distance Learning Enrollment
Office or through one or our worldwide centers
will work with Embry-Riddle faculty members over the web using web sites
managed by the college's Department of Distance Learning. A separate virtual
classroom is maintained for each class section. Students will have
the opportunity to interact over the web not only with their instructor,
but also with fellow students in the same class section. Students
can interact with the class from anywhere in the world where they can get
to the web.
OFF-CAMPUS DEGREE PROGRAMS
The College of Career Education of Embry-Riddle's Extended Campus
offers the following degree programs in the web-based distance learning
format through either the college's Distance Learning
